Dear Friends of Open Voting:

Given the latest information on VIPs likely to attend the LinuxWorld conference AUG 5-7 -- where the OVC voting system will be featured -- experts agree that new supporters will flock to us. A mockup of the overall design was recently released [1]. Reaction has been great -- OVC is widely expected to become the standard for California and then the United States.

LinuxWorld will be great for OVC, but one problem. Right now, we don't have the money to get there. Conference organizers are providing the space and many amenities. It is still going to be a lot of work and expense for OVC to get everything done.
